Places to visit around Efteling and Air BnB

I know this is a MN favourite because I started a similar thread 13 years ago!

We are going on a short holiday ( no more than 1 week) to take our 3 year old to Efteling. We will also be taking our almost 18 year old.

Any suggestions for other places to visit and Air BnB places to stay.

We don't have the budget to stay on the park. We were thinking of camping but the 18 year old is not keen.

We stayed at Beekse Bergen, which is a Safari Park and a good day out even if you're not staying there.

We visited Kinderdijk windmills when we went last time, it is about an hour away. It was beautiful - it is a UNESCO site.

We are actually off to Efteling today and planning a trip to Amsterdam whilst we are there - it is about an hours drive and the park and ride is easy and cheap.

Thanks @Ricekrispie22 I will check out that page. We did look at staying at the safari park. We are actually going to stay at the park now as it financially makes sense because you can't buy a 2 day ticket.

We stayed at de Kempervennen Center Parcs. Great holiday.

Where on site are you staying op?
It's very easy to get to Amsterdam from efteling and delft etc. Have a fab time we love it there.
