French holiday cottage recommendations

Thinking of going to Southern Brittany, coastal area. Any recommendations on either cottage/gite or chalets? We normally drive further south but only have a max of 10 days. Many years ago we went to quiberon which was lovely but busy. I would be grateful for any advice

We live and have a gite near Vannes (and had some guests who have been every single year since we opened 15 years ago! Flowers) We're pretty much full for this summer already, but I am very happy to help with the area round here and send you our info on where to go etc?

Try the Brittany Ferries website. They have lots and lots of gites and you can book as a package with ferries to the Brittany ports which cuts out a lot of driving. Think they have 20% off some holidays at the moment.

Aah! Know this well as I live there! When we house hunted 10 years ago we stayed in the most amazing Gite just outside Vannes. I've kept in touch with the owners who are now friends and it's a fabulous place. If you message me I can send the link. I've recommended it to many people since including my family when we had no space for them to stay. In general I love that area as you have the coast, port, lots of activities on your doorstep plus its just typically french with quaint cobbled areas and lovely shops to browse in. I do remember my friend saying she was pretty booked up already for 2019 but she probably has other recommendations as she's often booked up and always tries to help people who can't stay with her.
Do PM if you want the link.
Happy french holidaying!
