Hi! We have for the past 5 years summer hols found fab gite clusters in the dordogne and La Rochelle areas of France. We want to explore the alps this summer and have booked cheap flights to Geneva. Looking for recommendations about small clusters of accommodation that share a pool where kids (8 and 11) can be sociable. Anyone been somewhere possibly near Chamonix or Annency ?

Mossiebonbon could you recommend where you stayed in France. My husband has been trying to persuade me to go for years but I'm not convinced it wouldn't be a hard work holiday ie same cooking and cleaning as at home as so expensive to eat out. Many thanks

Sequin- google les croquets in dordogne near Sarlat, would highly recommend, owners are excellent hosts and if your kids are between 4-14 then easiest holiday ever as the kids all hang up and look after themselves all day! Pretty safe environment to leave them have freedom to roam but not so big you don’t know roughly where they are!
