Hi,

I wanted to obtain some independent advice. I am currently going through a complicated situation.

I experienced some severe symptoms over the last weekend and went to see a GP today - who suggested it could be something quite serious (or could be something minor as well) and have referred me to a consultant for tests (not sure when I will get an appointment). He also told me if I experience something similar again - I should not wait and call an ambulance straight away. The issue is I am not sure how to break this at work to my boss (or should I?), it could be that it turns out to be something minute but I have not been diagnosed with anything so far. This however means, I cant work on anything as I am too stressed to do any work at all right now (today I just sat in my desk and could not do any real work).

In an extreme and rare case, I may even have to call ambulance at work.

Any suggestions?

Hi there OP,

Would you like us to move this thread over to General Health? It's one of our busiest topics, and we think you'd get a lot more support over there.
