City break with an 18 month old?

We’d like to go away for a few days next month with our 18 month old. Thinking of flying somewhere but not quite sure where to go? 18 month old is happy so long as he gets to have a walk so ideally not somewhere he will be constantly stuck in a pushchair.

Any recommendations please?

Barcelona was easy with a pushchair and I never had a problem finding somewhere to nappy change. There are lots of interesting things to see and do in Barcelona, including indoor activities if the weather is not so good.

Lisbon has some great kids museums and parks. Flights and accommodation aren't too expensive either.

Lisbon is a lovely city but not if you have a pushchair or an unsteady LO with small legs! The streets are steep, and several are cobbled and twisty.

Malaga! Brilliant options for little walks and museums, also a beach and a lovely port area. Good for a buggy and little legs. Don’t be put off by what you might think of it: plus handy for the airport.

Failing that Palma is nice: some winding streets but also lots of flat areas and squares, a long flat prom, and cheap easy bus to the aquarium, beach, and a lovely Castle (Bellver)
