Help pre-booking activites at Netherlands center parc please! I can't do it!

We are due to go to a centerparcs in the Netherlands next month and I keep getting emails telling me I can book activities.

I go to the site and it tells me about the activities (in dutch!!) but there is no option to book any!

All emails/faqs say that it is simple, just go to MyCenterParcs and book online but there is nothing there! The app it links to is not available on the UK app store.

My only option seems to be paying for an international phone call to ask but surely I must be missing something??

Please help!

try using a photo translate app off the app store. you just take a picture of the screen and it will translate the words for you.

We have never prebooked activities before. We go regularly to CP Netherlands (are you going to de Kempervennen?) and have never had a problem booking activities once we’re there. We go first thing, and have always got what we wanted.

I'm sure there is a button to translate it into English.

It's like a British Centre Parcs in the 50's. Not so polished, limited Health and Safety (in a good way) and we didn't have a problem booking things when we were there either.

Notmethistimehonest · 28/09/2018 18:31

Thanks all. I can cope with the dutch using google translate much as it is a pain, I just don't like being told I can book and not being able to.

We are going to de Kempervennen, yes! We have been before a few years ago and when I booked I did buy the ski pass for the teenage DC which will keep them busy for a lot of the time. I was considering the Escape Room which I hear is new.

I'll be honest, I'm not a massive fan of CP in general, but the ski dome is so so much cheaper than going to one here that it seemed a decent price for a week away. The DC are old enough now to leave to it for the day so DH and I plan to explore a bit whereas last time we spent hours in the snow centre bar drinking coffee mainly.

We are going October half term which I think coincides with some dutch holidays whereas before we went the last week of August and it was very quiet.

Good to know you didn't have problems booking anything once you got there. We will be fairly early checking in so hopefully it won't all be booked up, we at least need to use the free activity vouchers up!

We love de Kempervennen - been three years now! We usually go in August and it’s always been full but, as I said, always got booked. If you want to do something different for a couple of hours, I recommend the kayaking. You go along local canals, small ones, and there’s a lovely restaurant at the end.

Miljah · 28/09/2018 22:28

Pre book bikes!!

Notmethistimehonest · 28/09/2018 22:36

Yes we liked the kayaking last time, although I had forgotten the lovely restaurant at the end!, not sure I want to book that in advance for late October though!!

Won’t need bikes as got a villa in good location so happy to walk around.

Just would love to work out how to pre-book online Confused

Ok it's not easy op but just gone through to try and advise you:
Go to MyCenterParcs.com
Click 'visitors from the United Kingdom'
Go into 'my reservation details'
Click 'Adding Services'
Click 'activities'
Click 'free time'
Then you get the list of activities to book!
We have already booked De Kemp for next year!

Notmethistimehonest · 28/09/2018 23:16

Fantastic, thanks so much. I will try that in the morning 😊🤞

Couldn’t wait until the morning!

All went well until Adding services. I don’t have that option. I have My reservation details, My Domain, Reserve a table in the restaurant and download your e-ticket. The titles are all in English but the detail is in Dutch!

If I go to My Domain then I can see My Cottage, Cottage Description, Services, Packages & Activities and Route Map. If I click on Packages & Activities it lists all the activities in Dutch but no option to buy them.

Am I being thick?!

If I click ‘My reservation details’ it just lists out what I paid and that I have booked the ski pass. (All in Dutch!)

I wonder if this is because I booked over the phone because they gave me a discount instead of online??

I clicked Activities (in a green panel) then 'free time' popped up underneath then a plus sign to add. I would ring them to query and then book over the phone or by email. Or they have a WhatsApp which is great as they answer really quickly and you can book that way. Good luck.

newyearwhoohoo · 29/09/2018 08:22

Also as PP have said I think highly likely you can book when you get there. Activities vouchers, the free ones, can only be booked at the park. Enjoy. Very jealous!

madvixen · 29/09/2018 08:23

We're going to Het Heijerbos tomorrow and our activities didn't appear for booking until about 28 days before hand. I'd give it a week or so and then check again
We've never been to a CP before so it's all very new to us

madvixen · 29/09/2018 08:26

@newyearwhoohoo how do I contact them via WhatsApp please? We have some packages included in the booking but I don't know what they contain and I can't find the info anywhere on the website. It's making packing problematic 😀

newyearwhoohoo · 29/09/2018 14:50

Op have just PM'd you WhatsApp details for De Kemp instead of to madvixen (sorry got confused) but you might find this info useful. Madvixen will pm you now.

madvixen · 29/09/2018 15:29

Thank you so much

Notmethistimehonest · 29/09/2018 15:41
