Italian likes - alternative to Bella Italia

Can anyone advise on alternative accommodation for a family of 5, kids aged 10, 4 and 3 next June/July near the Italian lakes.

I am tempted to book Bella Italia through Eurocamp, but it gets very mixed reviews. It would be nice to break away from the campsite type of holiday as we've done these for a few years now, but if it was a really exceptional campsite we'd consider it .

I booked Airbnb this year further south, and it was brilliant. I appreciate you take a risk, though.

Camping la rocca we are seriously considering for next summer. Reviews look good. Walking distance to two towns along the lake

We were at Bella Italia two years ago. I’d I’ve it a miss. Much better is Weekend, also available through Eurocamp but the site have their own lodgings that are much much prettier!! Lakeside cottages with a view to die for. Site is smaller but really well proportioned and maintained. Highly recommend! This is a pic I snapped walking around the site two weeks ago.

Camping europa silvella is lovely - small and quiet with direct lake access.
