Any recommendations with a 3 & 5 yo? Devon / Cornwall / Somerset
Looking to go away for my birthday but weather always crap. Don't want to leave the kids as I'd love us to do something as a family, ideally wear them out during the day and have a few cosy nights with hubby.
Thanks x

It's a bit pricey but look at the Luxury Family Hotels chain.
We've just been to Woolley Grange with 4yo DS. It was perfect for small children. DS had high tea at 5pm, then we had supper once he was asleep using the listening service.

Thanks for the reply but nothing too pricey 😬

I'd recommend staying at Bosinver self catering cottages in Devon. Rose cottage in particular would be perfect for a young family. It's on a working farm and children can get fully involved with petting and feeding the animals and collecting eggs from the hens. They might even get to ride a pony or have a tractor ride. There are also lots spaces outside including a Wendy house and a zip wire. There's a Gruffalo trail around the farm, an indoor play area, games room, and a shared indoor heated pool. Lots of good days out locally too. Babysitting can be arranged for the evening and there's are some really lovely restaurants not too far away. www.bosinver.co.uk

@Coco2891 Grin
Do call them, they often have late availability and if you’re near you could get a real bargain. Dogs welcome, there’s a swimming pool and bar and lots for children to see and do.

Does it have to be that area? Have a look at Bluestone near Tenby it's fantastic at that time of year.

Forest Holidays Deerpark, cornwall? Loads of activities indoor/outdoor for the kids, pizza delivery and hot tub for night times when they're asleep Wine. I've not found similar cabins elsewhere where you get such good privacy on the back deck.

The cabins are absolultely lush and I've been there in November before and it was really lovely (they have heated floors!!!) especially when you see a deer or bunny trotting up to the massive windows.
