Active family holiday recs?

We've been thinking about holidays for next and we're struggling to think of anything new!
The dc are 8,10,11 and 13.
This year we've done sailing in Croatia and we're doing a safari before they go back to school then lapland with mil over Christmas.

We've just got back from a holiday in the French Alps which was fab. We have smaller DCs but I saw lots of older children and tbh it was probably better suited for them! We were staying in the mountains up from Thonon-les-bains on Lake Geneva. Loads to do on the lake itself,lovely lakes up in the mountains, some with activities on site, lots of mountain biking etc.

Stay on a ranch in Arizona and go horse riding?
