Disneyland Paris for 1.5days

We are going to France camping in a few weeks and managed to extend our trip by a couple of days to stop at DLP.
We have booked a 1 day, 1 park ticket but will actually arrive at our hotel (off-site) around 3pm the day before and would love to have the evening at DLP. We can't afford/don't want to pay another £200 for such a short day so wondered if there are cheaper evening passes or a way to buy ticket from people if they leave early.

Whether we stick with just 1 day or manage to squeeze an extra afternoon/evening, any tips welcome as it's our first time with Dc (8&12). We are on a tight budget so food & any essential extras (shows, etc) can't be too pricey.
Thanks

I might be wrong but I haven’t heard of a half day ticket or anything similar. As you are staying off site perhaps you could come to the Disney Village that afternoon. There are some Disney shops and if it’s within your budget you could perhaps eat at the Rainforest cafe or cafe mickey and dine with the characters. It’s not cheap but probably cheaper than one day park tickets. There is a fab Wild West show which includes dinner but might be beyond what you want to pay. It’s a very pricey place! If not you could explore the Disneyland Hotel, other posters may be able to advise whether or not you can see characters around the hotel or view fireworks from there.
