Looking for tips - Going away in a 6 berth static caravan with 5 yr old and 11 month old, 2 bedrooms 1 twin , 1 double , 1 pullout bed in living area . Have a travel cot but no idea where to put it ! Really don't want to put her in the living space as it means in the evening we will be stuck ! Any ideas ?

In the twin bed, with a bed guard, 5 year old in other bed.
In the double with one parent, the other in with the 5 year old.
In the double with both parents.

I had friends that did this when they went for their dds 1 st birtgday. They popped her in the single in a growbag And took a bed guard.

Thanks for the replies. How did they fill the gaps the bed guard can't at the bottom and the end ?

We just had to get a 3 bed caravan for this reason, any chance you could upgrade? Or could you both sleep in pull out & dc get a bedroom each?

Assume not as you haven't mentioned it but does the caravan park not offer a travel cot? When we went we asked them for the cot (advertised on website) they swapped it out for one of the twin beds. Could you ask if they could take out a twin bed? If they don't they don't but if you don't ask then you'll never know.

Maybe borrow a bed guard from someone else as well? Ebay does some reasonably priced ones that are bigger than the usual ones. If you are just worried about it not covering the whole thing, my ds doesn't fall out of the gaps and doesn't even climb out unless we are there, though I know he knows how. If you have more than one side to cover then see about getting a guard for each side, maybe look on Facebook swap and sell sites or see if a friend has one you could borrow? Also check with the site, they may have solutions.
