Is it possible to plan one? DH has a conference next year that I could attend with my 2 DDs. The hotel has 2 pools. Is there any point in going along or will it be miserable? Does a 3 year old still ride in a pushchair or could I do without the double pushchair and just bring the single?

Ooh, I'd definitely go. My 3 yo managed fine without a pushchair - really depends on what you're planning to do.

Thanks, Stickynote. Our double pushchair is huge, so I was hoping you'd say 3 year old would do fine without. If necessary, I suppose we could put DD2 in a baby bjorn, although she'll be 1.5 yo by then (too big for bjorn?), and DD2 could ride in the single pushchair. The last time I used the baby bjorn was when DD2 was 3 months old. . .
