Cinema with 6 x 8 year olds- how do we all get to sit together??

Complete newbie at taking rent-a-mob to a cinema. Can't get thru on the phone to ASK so I'm asking all you experienced types! The cineam is one of those 500 screen Megaplexes (Southampton) and we can prebook/pay tickets. We're thinking about a new release soon after its opening so the kids won't have seen it (it's a birthday bash). Is there any way apart from sharp elbows such places can ensure we, DH and myself, can fulfil our duty-of-care to 5 other small boys by sitting in the same row as them in the cinema? Note, we don't want to go the whole 'party package' as we want to go to Pizza Hut for a meal with them afterwards. Any advice gratefully received!

Get there early.

I wondered if that might be the only way!

if its a new release and you can pre book then you would be allocated seats then i would think? thats what happens at our local cinema when we pre book - we get our tickets with seat numbers on them !

You should be able to pre-book your seats online. I did this for ds1's birthday one year with eight children in tow!! We took up a full row.
