Canary Island ... end of September?

We have booked to go to Fuertaventura in the last week of September/Start of October.

Despite having friends who live there, and average weather for the island then... I am freaking out it's going to be cold and miserable and crap. Like Salou was in May.

Looking for lots of stories of people who go there every year and have glorious roasting sunshine every time then please Grin

I went to Lanzarote once in October half term. It was late twenties every day temperature wise and glorious.

LizzieSiddal · 09/07/2018 20:43

We went mid Oct and it was really hot, around 26 each day!

Greenteandchives · 09/07/2018 20:46

We used to go every year at about that time. We have had all sorts of weather tbh; it’s often windy (the clue is in the name) but mostly fine, warm and sunny. If it rains it’s usually over fairly quickly. Cold would be very unlikely.
Wall to wall sunshine can’t be guaranteed anywhere you go.

I went in January and still came back with a tan and spent days on the beach!

Thanks for all telling me exactly what I want to hear. I was there last August and was TOO HOT and friends that like there said you should see it in October...

2 months and 16 days... not that I'm counting!!!!
