Is it worth the relatively long flight compared to other European city breaks ?

Is there plenty to do/see for two 50 somethings and 2 young adults ?

Thanks

We enjoyed the Obwarzanek Museum where we made our own bread pretzels. Workshops for the general public are limited to specific hours; English sessions take place on Wednesdays at 14:00 and Saturdays at 12:00 - visit their website for bookings and more information.
HistoryLand was pricey but engaging for a few hours and Rynek Underground was good too. For the latter, timed tickets should be bought in advance because it's a popular museum and only 300 people can visit at a time.
We had to go out of the city to find enough things to do. We went to the salt mines in the small town of Wieliczka, about 20 minutes from Krakow. There was a tour which took two hours and goes through underground tunnels, chambers and underground lakes.

We loved it. We also booked tours to the war camps which was sad but important.

Loved krakow. We went just before christmas and there was a big market. Auschwitz is a whole day trip and well worth seeing. There is also the castle, salt mines and jewish quarter to see. Oh and its super cheap when you get out there! I think 3 nights would ve enough time to see all the sights though.
