Holiday recommendations with a toddler [halo]

Hi Mummas, I am hoping to get some recommendations for sun holidays destinations (including details of resort / hotel). My partner and I have a 1 year old son, who is quite active and full of fun. Ideally we would like to go somewhere with a short flight and lots of entertainment for the little man (toddler club, kids pool, playground etc.). We have had a tough year so ideally we would like something that is quite special so that we can all enjoy the break. If you have been on an awesome holiday with your little one(s) I would be delighted if you could share. Many thanks in advance

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the TUI Sensatori hotels for families with small children, but the nearest is a 4+ hour flight. Is this too far?

Menorca is nice for young children and flight is only 2 hours.
Royal Son Bou Family Club is a good AI hotel and Mestral &Llebeig are good SC apartments, both near excellent beaches.

The Atlantis Bahia Reale in Fuerteventura is lovely and a bit more high end but I think the 4 hour flight is a bit too long to be comfortable with a 4 year old.

If budget is no object try the Forte Village resort in Sardegna.
