Weekend break in Ibiza in your 50’s

Advice on a weekend break in Ibiza 3 or 4 friends in our late 40’s early 50’s (no husbands or children). Ideally massive room with 4 beds and one or two bathrooms.
Where to stay in terms of area and hotel away from the total madness and youngsters?
Would like somewhere with a lovely view and balcony, beach closeby to watch the sunset, nice bars, variety of nice restaurants just want to relax during the day and drink cocktails and prosecco on an evening and have a laugh don’t really fancy clubbing.

The clubbing is mainly Playa den Bossa and San Antoni so anywhere outside those two areas should be fine. TBH even in those areas the clubbing is as noticeable as you want it to be.

If you are not driving I would aim to stay around either Figueretas/Marina Botafoch which are on the edge of Ibiza Town. Several beaches are walkable from there. Worth it for the walks around the old town too.

If you want to be away from the capital then I'd suggest Santa Eulalia which is a small resort town to the East of the Island with the bonus that it is a short taxi ride to the Hippy Market for clothes and accessories.

I'd say both those places fit the bill and loads of hotels to choose from.

TBH though Ibiza is small so nowhere is more than half an hours taxi ride.

Trilogy18 - that’s great thanks I went to Ibiza for a week when I was 19 it was a drunken haze partied every night woke up to splitting headache and very hot sun which I was unable to sit in so can’t remember much about the location unfortunately. Going for a much quieter times these days 😂
We are thinking of mid June so hopefully it will be sunny but not absolutely scorching.

@Hellsbellscockleshells yes, but just 2 adults. I love the idea of Ibiza (not the clubbing) and have heard such wonderful things about it.

You need to be on the west side of the island to get the best advantage of the sunsets.step away from playa en bossa it's easy if I remember correctly and San Antonio is club land. I don't think Ibiza town would give you the vibe you seek either. There's lots of little bays on the west coast. That's what you need. Have a great time. It's a special place.
