Italy with four month old

We want a week break somewhere in Italy in September. Would like decent weather and places to visit. We visited Lake Garda last year and loved it.

We were looking at Sorrento but not sure how practical it is for travelling with a baby.

Any ideas please?

Italy is a brilliant choice with a baby but I’m not sure about Sorrento as it’s very hilly so not buggy friendly. Ditto most of the excursions to Vesuvius, Pompeii etc. A sling would be a good option but personally I wouldn’t fancy it if you’re talking early Sept as it will still be hot. Towards the end of the month wouldn’t be as bad though.

I really love the Almafi coast and we’re really eager to go again but will either leave DD with GPs for the weekend (tricky as we live in the US so would have to go via London to drop her off) or most likely wait until she’s a bit older.
