Weather La Rochelle Sept?

Anyone have any experience of what the weather is like in early September in the La Rochelle area?

Atlantic coast so it’s a bit of a mixed bag, I would have thought most likely low to mid-twenties. I’ve been in Sept and it was nearing 30 degrees and really hot but you could just easily see temperatures in the high teens and get rain. Sorry that’s not massively helpful is it!

My DCs nearly always go back to school in September in shorts and tshirts. Swimming pools are good until the end of the month. The waves usually start to pick up though.
