Great Yarmouth Travelodge

This weekend I took my wife and 2 young boys away for youngest’s 2nd birthday at Great Yarmouth and stayed at the Travelodge there.
I’ve never had to complain at any of the Travelodge’s I’ve stayed around the UK,but am doing so with this one as IMO it’s not child friendly and the staff are unbelievably rude and aggressive.
My youngest son sleeps at home in a trevel cot, every Travelodge I’ve stayed provides travel cots and the staff have been happy to provide them and put them up for you but not here at Great Yarmouth- I asked the duty manager for one when we checked in and she told us a blatant lie saying because my son could walk he didn’t need a cot,my wife wasn’t happy but we decided it would be ok,but unfortunately we were given 2 single beds for the boys which we pushed together to stop the youngest falling out.
When it came to bedtime the youngest hit his head twice on the head board so I went and asked for a travel cot and my request was met with rudeness and more lies, this time she said she couldn’t give a cot to someone with a child over 24 months,I said my son isn’t 24 months yet and I also stated the 3 other Travelodge’s I’ve stayed at have all provided travel cots without any fuss.
The lady then told me it’s because the travel cots tip upside down when the child stands up and it’s a health and safety issue,I told her it’s a health and safety issue about our son either hitting his head or falling out of bed,
The way this lady spoke to me throughout was very unprofessional and I will be making a complaint to Travelodge but my point I’m putting over is if you stay at Great Yarmouth with children, don’t stay at the Travelodge, chose the Premier Inn or any of the B and B’s as you won’t get this hassle and nastiness or bring your own cot.
