Smallish family all inclusive with good pool

Looking for somewhere in Europe (not Turkey or Egypt) to holiday with our 9 year old son in early August. Ideally with a good pool and stuff for kids to do.
Hoping for a smallish place as our son doesn’t cope too well with huge crowds. Would be nice to be relatively close to a beach and not have to pay the earth in the summer holidays! If this sounds like somewhere you’ve been, please pass on any recommendations. Thanks :)

Guests of the hotel can access a private beach free of charge just a few metres away. It is equipped with parasols, sunbeds, beach chairs, and a bar, open in high season: there you can have everything included in the “all inclusive” treatment.
Even though the hotel is quite small, there's a children's pool and another smallish pool with a decent water slide.
