Holiday recommendations with baby

Inspired by another thread, listing things you've bought after a mumsnet recommendation, I'm in need of some holiday advice.

Hoping to go away either next month or June. DS will be 6 months old.

• would like to go out of the UK
• no more than 3 hours on the plane
• baby friendly
• all inclusive would be nice
• somewhere DH and I can have a proper relax after the madness of having a newborn
• no more than £2,000

Resort/ hotel recommendations would be wonderful, rather than just places.

A friend went to side turkey with a 6 week old without any problem he’s went self catering apartment 10 in block with own pool. Both Greeks and Turks love baby’s if you find a nice local restaurant they will dote over him and look after you well. Look for smaller resorts places like Benidorm could be a bit full on for you and your baby.
Just go and relax at 6 months you don’t have to worry about him running away.

Think Turkey is a bit longer than 3 hours and honestly, don't fancy it anyway.

We've stayed in the Sahara Sunset Club in Benalmadena. Only for the odd day, so haven't tested it out properly but the apartments there are nice. It's right on the seafront and the Costa del Sol is easy if you're tired. You fly to Malaga.
