Hi. Anyone been on the Azura that could answer a few questions please?

Going with 13 year old DS. What arrangements do they make so DS can purchase his own drinks if he is not with me (kids club or off with other teens).

How do you disembark on the lady day (we are getting the train home and I want to book in advance)?

My DS lives in trainers and jogging pants (very sporty), but he will wear jeans and smart polo shirts in the main restaurant. I'm really stuck in terms of foot wear. What is acceptable? (Don't want to spend a fortune on shoes he will never wear again).

Are the shows in the evening 'kid/teen' friendly?

Thanks everyone.

Your DS will be given their own cruise card as you board Azura. Go to the Kids Club registration after you board and register him, then push him into the Kids Club on the first evening so that he can meet up with others his own age. Most of the time the teenagers use their club as a meeting point and wander off by themselves in groups. They can obviously come & go as they please. He uses his cruise card to pay for everything.

You can either self disembark on the last day, taking all your own luggage off by yourselves or you can wait for an allocated time from P&O. The railway station is a 5 - 10 minute trip in a cab depending on which terminal you dock at. You can usually get off yourself shortly after 7. There are usually a few kids in school uniform from the Southampton area going straight to school on the shorter breaks!

I doubt if anyone will be interested in what he has on his feet, but check the P&O dress code in their FAQs on the web page if you are worried.

The shows are all family friendly, but my teenager usually ends up going off with the friends she has made after we have had dinner. I often end up in the theatre or coffee shops like a single traveller!
