Have you been to either Masson or Dormat siblu holiday parcs? Which in your opinion is good for junior school aged children? Would Masson be too lively? Is it a case of opting in or out of "entertainment"? Or is the noise etc too much after midnight?

We would be visiting in peak season, i.e. August.

Any comments may help me decide which one?

We stayed at Masson 2 yrs ago.

Which ever you choose you can use the facilities at both, Masson has the kids clubs and evening entertainment on site while Dormant has the better pool. If you stay at Dormant and your kids like to go to the evening stuff you will have to cross the road in the night to return home, it can be quite busy - its a main road. However Dormant is as it's name suggests a quieter site.
Personally its Masson for me.

Whar abour les Pierre couchees?

I thought it looked quieter than either? (& much closer to the beach)

Dormant for me but I would say that since we own a mobile there.

The road is only busy Monday to Friday day time but there are two zebra crossings to cross over on and a wide footpath.

The play areas are better at Dormant and less likely to have the teenagers hanging around in the evenings.

The kids clubs run at Dormant in July and August and the rooms there have more space and are cooler than Masson. However while there is some 6pm entertainmnet at Dormant laid on by the team the main kids shows in the evening are at Masson which is usually a pleasant walk of about 3 mins door to door.

Dormant is better since it is better kept and Siblu are trying to make that one the owners site and make masson their own site. They keep the grounds and gardens better on Dormant

Thanks for your replies... I am still undecided guess I will have to just pick one ...Katymac Pierre couchees looks lovely but it does not have the size of accommodation we need.

We stayed at Mosson 4 years afgo and it was too big, busy and british for me. I much preferred Dormant and wished we'd stayed there instead. The pitches, area, pool, restaurant etc were much nicer. To sit outside in the restaurant at Masson you look at the road, dormant, you look over the pool. Sums it up really. masson was too Butlinsy for me. Dormant let us feel like we were abroad!
