Which is best to take a 3yo ??
We went to Paris last December and it was lovely but dh is talking about going to Florida.
I'm concerned it'll be too much for her as it's so big and wonder whether better to wait until she's a bit older ?
Plus I hate flying !!!!!!

Both are fantastic, but I'd say Paris is sufficiently entertaining for a 3 year old.

FLORIDA!!!!!!!!!!!! After you spend the one day at disney, you can then sit in the sun or do shopping!!! All in it will probably cost you less (and maybe take less time to get there) than disneyparis. And the floridians are oh so much friendlier and childfriendly than the parisians.

Nah, I just think MN's a bit tetchy today.

I'LL NEVER GO TO FLORIDA!
YOU MUST, YOU MUST!
I'LL NEVER GO TO FLORIDA AS I WON'T GET MY MOONCUP THROUGH SECURITY!
MY AROMATHERAPY CANDLE AND I WILL NEVER SUPPORT THE DISNEY CORPORATION.

Not directed at any one individual on this thread, just a general observation on a lot of the forums.

Me, I'm like Barney himself, all purple and hugs.

Ooooooooooooooooh get you - since when were you entitled to an opinion?

mateychops · 10/05/2007 16:40

Sorry, forgot, I'll just get back to my usual Captain Switzerland ways....

Paris and Florida are both great.

LieselVentouse · 10/05/2007 16:42

Paris is sh*te and so are the Parisians - well if eveybody else is being contraversial

mateychops · 10/05/2007 16:44

Paris is lovely, everyone's snogging, it's great.

Go to Florida.

I took my 3 yr old DS at Easter.

The flight was fine. Take snacks, books and toys, same as you'd do anywhere else.

You can get cheap deals to Flordia. Do your research and/or get a late deal. I've seen return flights for £50. May and Oct can be especially good (optimum weather and off-peak). Shop around for accomodation and consider self-catering/villa hire. Check out thedibb website it's for Brits holidaying in Florida I found it very helpful.

Does it matter if they remember it in ten years time? The point is, surely, to have fun now. You'll have photos, and you can tell them stories. My DS mentions Florida every day. I don't particuarly care about his future powers of recall, I will always remember the look on his face on our Animal Kingdom safari (our first ride on holiday), and I'll always find it entertaining to remind him of his fascination with American toilets.

Def go to Florida. It is a holiday for everyone. You can do babyswap on the rides and if they are big enough they could go on some of the bigger rides.
We are taking our dd who is 3 and ds who will be 1 when we are there in September. We have booked a Character lunch for our ds' birthday, dd will love it as well as we are trying to get her a princess makeover, also she is going to see High School Musical Pep rally while we are there. That will make her holiday! We have picked the parks we are going to, something to suit everyone. Buggies are the most essetial bit of kit you need when you have lo's. They usually need a sleep - even the most independent ones.
