Boxed perfume in hand luggage

I am travelling within the UK to visit relatives and have bought perfume as presents.

Does anyone know if they will get through security in hand luggage?

I will put the boxes into clear bags but I'm not sure if they will get through as they will be new in the box.

Are the bottles 100mls or under? If they're not then you can't take them in hand luggage

They r 50ml and 100ml so they r under but it was just the fact of them being in boxes that I wasn't sure about

You may have to remove them from the boxes. Plus you're only allowed one clear resealable bag (max size 20x20cm) per person and all the liquids need to fit inside it. Can you book hold luggage?

You could take them out of the boxes, put the bottles in the clear bag and flat pack the boxes into your suitcase, or even send the perfumes ahead of you in the mail?

You are, only allowed one bag. Take the measurements and see if they can fit in. Don’t wing it though as they will be taken off you.

Can you post them to your destination?
