Tamworth Snowdome for the day

Our Easter hols are a week earlier than almost everyone else.

DD (9) wants to snowboard after seeing the Olympics, DD (10) has skied on our local dry slope a few times (to v basic recreational level).

Thinking of booking a beginner snowboarding lesson for me (not done it before) and DD (9), and a mid level beginner skiing level for DD(10) and DH (if they'll believe me about DDs standard).

Then probably tubing for them.

So...it's likely to cost about £250 for 2 hours skiing/snowboarding plus 30 mins tubing.

Is it worth it?

Should DH and I do the 'adrenalin tubing' at the same time as DDs are doing theirs (there doesn't seem to be any sledging activity we could all do together)

Any other thoughts??

Nope

That sounds very expensive. are you sure you've calculated the cost correctly. We've been a few times and have definitely never spent that sort of money.

It's for a 2 hour spot in a group lesson each. £65 adult £54 junior.

A group lesson for 4 of us would be a bit cheaper but since half want to ski and half snowboard I can't see another way? We're total snowboard beginners so need the lesson.

Could possibly just get a lift pass for DH and DD(10) who in theory are recreational level (although DD has only skied on dry slope and not for about 2 years).
