Disneyland Paris when to go?

We are planning to take DS who is 7 years old and DD who is 20 months old to Disneyland Paris this year in either May or October half term. We've ruled out summer as I've been told its the busiest time. I assume May will be quieter with better weather but is the Halloween theme in October worth the extra queues and potential rubbish weather?? I'm also not sure if waiting until later in the year will be better for DD as she will be slightly older or will 5 months not make any noticeable difference. October also looks to be slightly cheaper. Any advice would be greatly appreciated please as I can't decide what best!!

In terms of being able to go on rides I don't think it will make any real difference to your DD being 5 months older. Days at DLP usually end up to be long/tiring so being older she may cope better, but would be less of an issue if you have a pushchair.

We went in May half term and it was quiet. Very short queues for rides. Weather was awful which didn’t bother us too much. Our visit fell between spring and summer themes though so less shows and parades if this is important to you. Close friends went in October and loved the theming but ride queues were very long.
