Best hotel for Gatwick South

Or rather make that Cheapest decent hotel for Gatwick south.

It’s for DH And DS (16) and they want to be able to get some sleep. The room/bed in the Bloc hotel looks a little too cramped.
They will have a car so can stay a few minutes away and drive in, that’s not an issue.
Any recommendations gratefully received.

We always stay in the Premier Inn. It's right on the departures area, it's perfectly clean and if you need parking you can also get it directly from them. Works well for us.

I see that there are two Premier Inns. One is in the north terminal; is it easy to get to the south terminal internally do you know?

Very easy indeed. If they're driving, look at the stay and park options too.

Yes it's easy to go from North to South and vice versa, there's a shuttle that runs every 5-10 mins between the terminals.

North and South terminal aren't connected internally you have to take the shuttle bus or monorail (or drive) but very straight forward.

DH isn’t flying, he’s just dropping DS off to meet others so he only needs overnight parking.
That Premier Inn in the North terminal does it for £10 so that looks like the best option I think.
