Has anyone travelled with them recently? We're travelling to Australia with them soon and I can't see much in the way of films showing as part of their entertainment package in Economy. Their website lists a small number of films but I expected there to be more. 😕

Not travelled recently but used to do six trips a year in economy until I switched to Qatar 18 months ago. There are plenty of films to watch unless you have been so often you have seen most of them already. They have plants vs zombies as a game that my youngest used to play for ages.

Thanks for that. I'm just getting jittery at the thought of having so many hours to fill! 😨

Take a good book! Take some Sominex sleeping tablets. (You can get them in Boots at the airport.). Drink no alcohol and don't sit still for hours. Singapore Airlines have snacks set out in the galley between meals so snack so you don't get too hungry.

Other than that .. it's just like a bus.

Changi has a butterfly enclosure. A free cinema and they offer city tours if you have more than a few (5?) hours spare. We don't do any of this as we are there all the time. It's a brilliant airport.

Thanks for the advice. I already use Sominex tablets from time to time so will take them with me.

Changi has a big helter skelter (terminal 3 I think) and also pools and all sorts. Research that and just download films or audio books for the flight if need be!
Nice food options too and you can have a free tour into Singapore if stopover is long enough.

Changi also has a swimming pool!! Take your swimsuit in your carry on luggage. Towels, shampoo etc comes with the entry fee. It's totally worth it.

Thanks all. Beginning to get excited!

Singapore Airlines are great. We flew with them to Australia in February are really liked them. Food was nice, there were enough films, crew friendly and the seat comfortable. Have a look in advance at your seating which they allow you to move for free.
