Hotels near Manchester Airport

I’ve already booked airport parking but have decided to stay overnight near Manchester Airport prior to flight instead of doing a long drive on the day. Have to be at airport at 8.30 AM so looking for a hotel nearby for a stress free short journey to the airport. I know there are loads to choose from but any recommendations for a place where I can relax, get a meal/breakfast and not worry about arriving on time? Thanks.

Depends on your budget. There is a Radisson IN the terminal with a pool and all kinds that is nice but expensive.

There's one that used to be called Clayton Hotel, will check its new name, that is across from the terminal which was lovely and a couple of minutes walk or there is the usual Travelodge etc.

We also stay at a Premier Inn at Heald Green as it works out cheaper, small hotel with Beefeater attached and it's right at the side of the train line to the airport. A couple of minutes train or drive.

We stayed at the Clayton in August. It was absolutely fine. We parked there and took the hotel minibus across to the terminal as it was 5am, but you could easily walk.

Oh it's called Clayton now. It was Bewleys before.

Thanks. I've already booked parking so I need somewhere that has parking overnight. Budget £100-120 with breakfast if possible. Dh not keen on the airport hotels unfortunately.

We have friends who have stayed at Mottram Hall via a cheap deal on booking.com
That's beautiful and has free parking, spa, pools and a golf course and I've seen it for £119 for a family room.
Its 5 miles away though.

Thanks. Five miles is fine. Shouldn’t take that long to get to airport so I’ll have a look x

We stayed here recently. We weren't going to the airport but lots of people appeared to be coming and going from the airport. it is close as we could see the planes descending for landing. It was fairly decent.

I live not far away and can confirm it should be an easy drive from Mottram Hall to the airport. Impressed if you can get a deal for that price.

For future lots of hotels near airports, if you stay in the hotel, they offer free parking while you are on holiday. Some charge a small fee for their bus to the airport eg £10 each way, some are free. Great if you have an early flight
