I think it very much depends on where you stay, if the hotel has A/C you will definitively use the 2.5 tog grobag, if you are in accomodation without a/c a 0.5 may be enough (specially for babies who are used to sleep at temperatures under 22 degrees).

Weather in September is very similar to the weather we have at UK at the moment, somewhat warmer.

Early September last year was really quite hot, we all lept with clothes but no sheets. Have just come back from my dad's (nearest town Puerto Pollensa) and it was very hot.

Chandra, are you from PP as well?

Actually I was there (in Pollensa) around the 13th of September last year and it was quite cold (maybe unseasonal?) - the water was warm, but it was cool enough to need a jersey at night. We did one walk where it started off in the high 20s and by the time we came down it was pouring with rain and freezing. I put DS in a 1.0 tog and he seemed fine, but I needed a couple of blankets. I would take both to be safe. Have a lovely time!
