Mauritius at Christmas - are we mad?

We will start TTC in January so want to do one last grown up hol. Our budget if about 5k can get us a good AI. Are we mad? Can't do November or January - has to be December. Don't want to do Caribbean because of bloody zika. Is it going to be crazy weather?

Isn’t their winter in June ish time? And that gets to mid twenties. It might be on the warm side.

The weather is fine at Christmas. Maybe a bit of rain. But your main problem may well be finding somewhere to stay. It books up really quickly as it’s the summer holidays for the Southern Hemisphere.
