Family holiday to France.

Hi everyone. Me and DH are looking at places to go for our summer family holiday next year. We are currently eyeing up going to France via ferry from Dover to Calais in our car.

We are just wondering where is popular and family friendly near Paris? What would you recommend?

We are thinking about maybe spending a day a Disney as both our DD's (10 & 5) love Disney but this will be hopefully a one off expense of what we would like to be a budget holiday.

Thanks in advance 😊

I haven't been there and don't know how expensive it is, but friends have stayed at the Berny Riviere campsite about an hour south of Paris and really liked it. I think they have a range of accommodation on site if you're not up for camping.

Have a look at Le Croix de Vieux Pont which is just an hour from Disney.

I am considering La Croix du Vieux Pont for next year. Seems to be easy to get to from Calais, lots to do and close to Paris & Disneyland.

We did exactly that a couple of years ago. A campsite called Le Chene Gris was recommended on here and it was fab. Great pool for little ones, good standard Maxi Tents and great service....and only 20 minutes from Disney. We had a brilliant time!
