transport options from charles de galles into paris

Any advice on best travel options with 8 year old and 2 year old into paris. What's the metro link like?
Will take our own car seat if nec but would prefer not to.

I don't know about the metro, but there's a bus service called Roissy bus that goes into the city centre and runs from 6am to 11pm.

The airport is also on the RER (trains which go through the city centre, faster and less stops than the metro).
I've just looked at the web site of the RATP which runs public transport in and around Paris and there is an English version.

Your best option, I think, is the bus, which will take you to the Arc de Triamph (sp?)
