10 year wedding anniversary next year. Want to go somewhere really special. Thinking Europe, possibly Italy.
Thanks

Fly into tivat, it's 10 mins from kotor. Beautiful places to stay around the bay

taytopotato · 04/09/2017 08:41

Santorini and stay in Oia

Verona - really lovely city, lots to do and of course the romeo and Juliet balcony is there. we have had some great luxury breaks in the UK art deco hotel at Burgh island and did a murder mystery weekend which was brilliant and meant dressing up.

massistar · 04/09/2017 18:23

Got to be Venice .. just not in peak summer!

Allwashedup · 04/09/2017 18:25

Vienna, but as with Venice, not in the peak of summer

pullingmyhairout1 · 04/09/2017 18:26

Alghero is stunning. Rome is magnificent too!

Pleasefindmyreallife · 04/09/2017 18:52

South of France Villefranche sur Mer - Hotel Wecome. Small, stunning very well heeled ( in an understated way) town. Views over to Cap Ferrat. Nothing much to do but enjoy the balcony, swim and shag before spending a warm evening in one of the resturants overlooking the sea.
And close to Italy!

superram · 04/09/2017 18:58

Loved Venice, Barcelona, Rome, in that order.

hangingheadinshame · 04/09/2017 19:06

Positano or Capri, but not in high season.
Paris, any time.
Or a swanky UK hotel.

Dizzywhore · 04/09/2017 20:21

Thanks all.
Been to Paris and Rome. Looking at Venice or lake garda. I love France though. Oh it's a hard one!

Bruges is gorgeous, very walkable, small enough that you can see everything in a weekend, great restaurants. Highly recommend this hotel for luxury and location www.hoteldukespalace.com/nl/

NotPennysBoat · 04/09/2017 20:25

Came on to say Oia in Santorini but I see it's already been suggested! Amazing place, not kid friendly which was just what we wanted as we left ours at home!
Look at Katikies Hotel or Kirini Suites, pure paradise!

Piglet208 · 04/09/2017 20:35

Taormina in Sicily. Amazing views across the bay, lovely choice of restaurants, plenty of architecture, a teatro which holds concerts and a volcano. What more could you want!

Gin4meplease · 04/09/2017 20:50

Vienna and Budapest
Stockholm

I really liked this hotel at Lake Garda which was recommended by Ato-Tours to us: www.excelsiorleterrazze.com/index.cfm/en/
Plus you can do a day trip to Verona or Milan.

Dizzywhore · 18/09/2017 13:39

Thank you itsmehello, we booked the hotel you recommended. Can not wait! Smile
