Good point about the snap princesscc!! Most annoying thing is there was no doctor on yesterday to examine her xrays so she had to have a cast anyway and we wait .
Collision - she fell over in her pe lesson at school would you believe! We've just watched a dvd I bought for her (soft I know ) and eaten one of her easter eggs so she's enjoying that instead of school!

Kelly...where is swinley forest?

Where do you live and how old are the twins?

swinley forest is in bracknell, where the lookout is. I think it is the one you might be referring to, it has a big wooden castle playstructure. I live in north ascot, and the twins turned 2 last friday.

We are in Warfield.

I was going to go to Legoland next week with the boys (aged 2 and 5)

I am going to get a day ticket and get ds in free with a voucher I have. ATEOTD I will upgrade it to an annual pass.

I have a spare free child ticket if you want it to do the same.

We could meet up if you want to?

sounds good, perhaps a meetup at swinley forest?

How do you manage at legoland with both of yours? I lvoe the fact that there are so many rides for little ones, but they require an adult for each child, so even when the older two are at school, I can't go on my own with the dts, though I would love to be able to. There is no way I can take all four on my own, ds1 was quite a handful last time we went there.

Kelly1978 · 30/03/2007 12:48

ds1 has sn, he really liked it there, but seemed a bit bewildered. He started licking everything and flapping a lot. He then caused a mass pile up at the drving school.

Might do Spinnaker Tower and the Victory at Portsmouth. Has anyone been to Action Stations - what age does it suit?

collision · 30/03/2007 12:57

that would be great

Havent done Legoland on my own yet! Will let you know!

In London:

Zoo is great, book ahead online for discounts

Science Museum is brilliant and free.

Bicycling in Richmond Park

Kelly1978 · 30/03/2007 13:29

my kids preferred the history musuem, but we were a bit rushed the day we went to the science musuem and didn't get down as far as the basement bit. Is it worth another visit?

Rantum · 30/03/2007 13:45

Basement bit is good - if you try to find a time that isn't too crowded (don't know when that would be!) My ds was still a bit young for it (2 and a half)- mainly because ds was overwhelmed by all the 6 year olds running around like mad but I will take him back when he is older.

Kelly1978 · 30/03/2007 14:39

great thanks, might give it a go. My four won't be bothered by the crowds, it's usually manic at home anyway. Have you ever been to the British Musuem? We quite fancy that one next.

collision · 30/03/2007 16:26

DH is taking DS1 to the British Museum and then going for a pizza! Dh wants to spend some quality time with ds1 without ds2 disturbing them!

they are choosing the bits they want to see.

Oh, you'll have to let me know how it goes. I got some books on egyptians and stuff from the library to look at with the older two before we go, and I'm hoping it is something they would enjoy.
