We've just been to Club Latoonia in Turkey. It was great. Amazing food, three beaches and pools to choose from, activities in the pool each day. Don't know how good the other kids activities are as DS didn't go, but in general the whole place was great.

Paradise Club, Cala n Bosch in Menorca. We've been a couple of times in late June/early July and it hasn't disappointed. They have a fabulous animation team and whilst there's no "kids club" as such, there are plenty of activities to keep a pre-teen engaged and entertained for most of the day. The trip advisor reviews for August all suggest sun bed issues in peak season, but we have never experienced this, so in May you would be absolutely fine.
We love Menorca and have been to the same resort half a dozen times Smile

We're just back from Iberostar Albufera Playa, it's basically 2 hotels in one, on the Playa side there were no sunbed issues, it looked busier on the park side. The 2 hotels share animation teams so there is more going on. I like it there, it's in Playa do Muro, north coast of Majorca. If you can get DS in kids club the spa does the best massages I've ever had!

We have been to the Paradise Club in August twice. You could usually find a sunbed during the day but I use to put our towels down around 8am. There were quite a few there already but loads of free beds till about 10am. It's a fantastic hotel, lots of activities for all ages to join in with if you want to but no pressure to do so. The staff are great, the food is fantastic and we've had lovely relaxing holidays there. I'd love to go back again but it's so expensive in August.
