will it be warm enough Florida gulf coast in dec/jan to swim

we are thinking of going for Dec/jan ...how warm will it be?...worried that it wont be awrm enough for the children to swim in the sea/pool?..dont want it to be boiling but at least warm ...

Not warm enough in the gulf, in my experience (that was November, too, and I did go in but most normal people wouldn't). But swim pools might be heated.
