Kefalonia or La Gomera

I have been to Kefalonia several times, but thinking of going to La Gomera this year. Both in September. Anyone been to both - can you recommend ? I have got a bit tired of Kefalonia but husband likes what he knows!

I did like la Gomersal but for me a few days were enough.

Slightly odd choice - what about a different Greek island, or a different Canary? Corfu or Lanzarote?

I have been to both Corfu and Lanzarote. Both too commercialised and Corfu can't hold a candle to Kefalonia. Lanzarote has the sun in Winter, but other than that I didn't like it much.

Oh fair enough. I was in La Gomera out of season so there would be more to do in the summer - but all I remember is nice meals, swimming and one trip to the mountains where we heard the whistling language.
