Christmas holiday destination suggestions

Me, DH and DS13 - we are looking to get away over xmas.

We have a reasonable budget for a 3 week break.

Very open to suggestions clueless

Chile is amazing, weather will be at it's best and there is a bit of everything. Deserts, coast, wine region, spectacular mountains and glaciers. It really has it all if your budget extends to it.

New York and then fly on somewhere hot!

South Africa weather will be good
New York plus Caribbean, two centre, we've done new York and Mexico was good, though not at Christmas
If you've got three weeks is Australia an option

Belize

either of these would be fab if you want hot weather. PM me if you want details of our belize trip. Mayan ruins, howler monkeys, manatee watching, making chocolate in the rain forest. I could go on and on.

For three weeks I would go to NZ - it's amazing! Whale watching, wineries, penguins, mountains, beaches - really has everything.
Meister - Belize sounds fabulous. Would love to go when we have left China - could not cope with the flights from here.
