Dear god! Parking at LGW

It's £115 for 12 days

I've used my nhs discount and everything but can't get it down
Why is it so expensive?
I'm used to flying from lhr where parking is about £40-£60 meet & greet

Does anyone have any suggestions?
Or wants to offer their drive

Sometimes a hotel nearby will be cheaper with parking included in the stay. We usually do this, start our holiday a day earlier, nice meal, bottle of wine and you can stay in bed a bit longer!

Have you tried Tudor Rose? They meet you and take the car away.

I've been looking at the same for LGW for October, I'm sure it's gone up massively in price too. I only want car parks where I can keep my keys as I'm not happy about handing them over but that narrows down the options and bumps up the price!

I've tried the hotels too
Cheapest is £100 but then extra each way for transfers

Just park on a random drive nearby and give us all a good parking thread!!

Have you tried going through the moneysavingexpert. I'm paying 75 quid for 11 nights in july/August, although that's Luton.

We use Tesco clubcard vouchers to pay for airport parking.

We use FHR Meet & Greet at Gatwick and they have been absolutely fine. Mind you - just checked and it was £75 for 8 days this May, and for some reason I thought it was more in the £30-40 bracket - so must have gone up (DH booked it and paid this year).

Have you checked North and South. They have a non stop shuttle service so dead easy to go between them.
