OK so I've got a 250 mile drive tomorrow for our week break in this country.

Tyres are checked.
Adding a little oil to the engine later -
serviced + MOT back at the end of march.
Screen wash topped up
Anything else I should be checking over?

Dont do too many long car journeys to be honest but not sure if I've missed anything essential. car is 4 years old.

You could check the coolant level and ensure there is a red triangle in the boot

I just check oil and tyre pressures. Our cars are regularly serviced, and we have breakdown cover.

You do have breakdown cover don't you?

Enjoy your holiday

Thanks guys. Yeah we have breakdown cover. Coolant level never seems to change to be fair but I'll have a glance at that too.

Where are you going?

Damonlufc88 · 25/06/2017 11:02

Stopping in Paignton. Probably venture to Torquay + Brixham ☔

Have a great time. I love Devon.

Make sure lights all work - so many drive gormlessly around with failed lights.

Carry food, water, a charged but switched off phone. Dress sensibly with shoes you can drive and walk in.

Same as any journey, really.
