Where to go I need inspiration

I've managed to convince DP we should have a holiday abroad whilst dcs are still young enough to want to hang round with us. We're looking at summer holidays 2019 as this year's and next are sorted out however I'm stuck at where we should go.
Criteria as follows:
Shortish flight as dp not keen of flying and d's never have
All inclusive
Kids club or plenty of activities for dcs on site will be aged 7 and 12
Waterpark and theme park nearby and watersports and other excursions
Budget is about 4K

Any ideas?

Thanks brighteyes. There's so many choices and dp is adamant he'll only go once so I want to make it as memorable and persuasive as possible for another abroad holiday if the kids are ok flying and dp likes it more than he remembers.

We like the Algarve but it's been very popular the last couple of years so prices have gone up and up. I would stay somewhere with a good pool the kids will hopefully make friends so you can relax a bit and go on a couple of excursions to water parks.
We went to zoo marine for the day to see the dolphins pirate show and water slide. I am not into water parks but there are a couple in the Algarve one is better than the other.

Thomson (and probably the others) have specific "water park" hotels - quote a few in Grecce / Bakeries / Canaries. Perhaps start there and see what else is in the area?
