We're planning to go to Majorca in June, before it gets too hot and before ds turns 2. I got a nice quote of just over £600 for a week sc in Alcudia (Aucanada) and wonder if anyone can tell me anything?
What resort would you suggest? What hotel did you stay in? Anything will help. Dh's cousin and fiancee may come too so we would like a calm resort with a nice neach and few good bars for the evening.

hi there stayed in sea club apartments in alcudia last year with my 2 and 10 year old. its great for kids in the day and night. there was activities around the pool so mom and dad can relax . at night the entertainment shows were excellent like disney and grease. you dont hafto leave complex for a thing. the beach is also fabulous and plenty of bars and shops

I stayed in the mariners club apartments in alcudia a few years back.
The resort is brilliant. Plenty going on at night without being too busy and the beach is fantastic.
These apartments are thomson superfamily ones from what i can remember so theres plenty going on for kids.

puerto pollensa is much nicer than Aludia and far more child friendly- although it is more expensive. I would book flights direct ie flygobespan and book accomodation from owner . Try looking on puertopollensa.com under apartments and vills for rent and ask if you want to know anything else

Thanks! I have located the same flights via easyjet and booking through hotel direct (their translation is a laugh and a concern at the same time[hmm}!) and we'll be saving about £100 and end up with a separate bedroomed studio instead of just double bedroom. SO...prob can't afford Puerto Pollensa but will def pay a visit! Thanks!
