We have 3 days booked in Washington this August ,I have 3 kids 14,14,7.
Any recommendations? Places to eat or things to do?
So far I thought about a tour of the Capitol and a mooch around the Smithsonium and that's it !

I'd second the Old Ebbit Grill for lunch or dinner, good food, not too pricey, and a lot of history. The manager came to talk to us when we were there, telling us all about the politicians who had eaten there over the years , and pointing out a few that were in that day.
