La Manga or La Torre?

We are hoping to go away in august with another family.
The majority of the group want golf, a few want tennis, 2 would like a gym, 1 wants to be able to swim (properly, not just playing in the pool)
We would like our own villas or apartments ( not both families sharing one) but a shared pool would be fab.
We would like a mix of decent restaurants but also some self catering to keep
The cost under control.

We've not been to la manga in 15 years but think it might be ideal. Somebody else mentioned la torre.

Any thoughts /advice gratefully received.

Do you mean La Manga Club? If yes, I have been going there for the last 30 years and still love it! Something for everyone, safe for kids/teens.

I think I mean la Manga Club yes. Confused
It's a complex type affair with tennis courts, a gym, a large communal pool, plus other pools dotted about, either private or shared by a group of villas.
Is that correct?

How about Roda golf - located between the two you suggested and will be considerably cheaper.

Yes, that's the club....go for it....it's still great.

Have stayed in El Valle which is a sister complex to El Torre but visited El Torre. Lovely villas with private pools but you could use the communal ones there. Club house was really nice too...but they were very quiet (we are pretty anti social on holiday so not as issue and we had friends staying in a nearby villa on complex) but the extreme quietness did make for a bit of an odd atmosphere. Just be warned that some of the facilities such as shops and restaurants may well be closed or on limited opening hours.
