Tell me what to do with a week off in August!

Please? I'm going round in circles looking online and on Airbnb and I just can't decide.

I have the week of the 14/08 off; not ideal with the summer holidays crowd and prices but oh well.

Flying from London. (Or train, I love trains!) Ideally I would like somewhere

-Not overly expensive
-Peaceful
-A nice view (whether that's beach/mountains/lake/old town)

Does this exist!?

I don't mind how many or how few days I go for. Help an indecisive numpty please

Train to Paris, couple of days there sightseeing, another train to Geneva (by a lake, to relax), fly back?

Ooh I haven't been to Paris - are there any areas to stay away from accommodation wise? A lake in Geneva sounds great too, thank you

Fly to Ljubljana in Slovenia and spend a couple of days there then head out to Lake Bled. It's stunningly lovely.

Fly to Milan and train to Lake Como?
