Car hire at Faro airport

Any suggestions for good hire firms outside usual big companies Avis/Hertz etc?
We've had a few hit and miss experiences in the past so after recommendations this year. We only need a smallish car as it's me DH and DD who will be 3.2

Zitauto.
Use them from Faro 3 or 4 times a year. Cheap, good service.
They operate out of car park 4 rather than a booth but don't let that put you off - it means shorter queues. Also,no shuttle bus

I second Zitauto. I've just had a quote from them of €320 for a Ford Fiesta or equivalent for 2 weeks in July. I've used them before and had no issues at all

Thanks all looks like zitauto is the only choice then!
