We have embraced co sleeping and cloth nappies I am now hunting for a sling so that my clingy little boy can be snuggled up to mummy but she can still get stuff done Iyswim. DS is nearly 18 months old weighs about 2 stone and is nearly 3ft tall so which if any sling can we use?

Hello mummyhill - haven't posted on the other thread for a while - must get over there and say hi

Anyway, I carry DS (same age as yours!) everyday in our
Ergo . It's fab but does take a bit of practice at first. I know people who carry their 3 year olds in Ergos so you should be able to use it for a while. You can wear the baby on your front, back or hip but DS always goes on my back.

I also have a Kangaroo Korner Adjustable Fleece Pouch which is great but the Ergo is far more comfy for longer periods. When I get the Ergo out, DS jumps up and down shouting 'up, up, up!'

i would recommend a hopp wrap. at the bottom of the page

you can get them second hand on the the baby wearer for £30 - £40.

would agree with a hopp, but the sling i use most and leave on all day is a comfyjoey.
(comfyjoey.com) also, love love love the maya padded sling.
babywearer.com is a great resource but i found it a bit overwhelming at first.
in the uk you can try littlepossums, bigmamaslings, rumplebums, or naturalmothering. all online shops which all stock a good range of different slings and wraps. google the names and the sites will come up.

honestly can't see why women use pushchairs - they look so cold and unfriendly.
anyways, good luck. keep us posted about what you find.
